Dodd Engineering (North West) Ltd. was established in 1987 and is based in Chorley, Lancashire.

The Company has gained an enviable reputation for the design, manufacture and installation of a wide variety of materials handling conveying and industrial weightless handling manipulator systems.

Dodd Engineering specialises in the supply of materials handling solutions to suit the needs of the clients, utilising in-house computer aided design and project management facilities.

Manufacturing meets the high standards of quality and reliability based on the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001.

Our clients include;- Rio Tinto Aluminium, ThyssenKrupp, Hotpoint, Vauxhall and IBC Vehicles, Jaguar Cars, Albion Automotive, Cheale Meats, Bosal, Leyland Trucks, Bentley Cars, Avery Dennison, Unite Modular, GCA-Galliford Costain, Norwest Holst and more.

Export orders have been undertaken in Belgium, France, Germany and Norway.

Working with MovoMech, Sweden since the year 2000 we are able to offer a comprehensive range of standard industrial manipulators and aluminium crane rail systems, for weightless handling solutions.

Our more traditional products include a range of overhead power pull and power and free chain conveyors.
